Installation has been a part of the exhibition “Empirical survey on a heritage” in Museo Lazzaretto in Cagliari, Sardegna, Italy;
Project curated by Giovanni Casu and Giusy Sana in Collaboration with Culturia Art Residency in Berlin and Cultural Institut of Sardegna.
The work “Touch” is the result of a performative experiment realized in Berlin. Different unknown men were invited to act and interpret the idea of love and desire in the green box scenes of simply structured screenplay based partly on the famous video of Keneth Anger ” Fireworks” realized in 1947 in California. They had to interact with each other. The video results from improvisation work, which was related to their personal experience and autobiography. The images refer to baroque nude painting. Milk and flowers contain symbolic meaning but also remind us their erotism. The second part contains short statements about love and sexuality. The question I investigate is how gender philosophy and feminism change the approach to love and sexuality and where is a borderline, where the society moves from restraint towards indulgence and the other way around.
